High Lonesome Institute

The High Lonesome Institute exists to create, apply, and extend knowledge that inspires and engages people to practice a contemporary land ethic.  The Institute is the brainchild of a select few involved in the operation and ownership of Colorado's The High Lonesome Ranch, and is focused on science, scholarship, dialogue, education, and outreach.  Conservation Visions Inc. works with the High Lonesome Institute, and is quite pleased that Shane has recently accepted the position of Institute Director.  As such, he will lead the Institute, and will be very involved in research, growth, organization, and outreach.
